Wendy Dryden - Fundraising Volunteer

Wendy is a medical assistant in Berkeley while she prepares to apply for medical school. Thanks to her mentor, Dr. Sakti Das, she was imbued at a young age with compassion for the victims of structural violence.

Seizing any opportunity blend her love of travel and volunteering, she has had the opportunity to engage in community development alongside the residents of four different continents. She enjoys trivia pub quizzes, crocheting, listening to public radio, practicing Spanish, as well as devouring and sometimes cooking sustainably-grown foods.
