Eva Wong - Recruiting Manager

Eva works as a researcher in a renewable fuel company in the bay area. At the Foundation, she acts as the primary volunteer recruiter seeking appropriate people for short and long term volunteer positions.  

She is interested in improving literacy in children and empowering women in rural areas.  Her interests include cooking, traveling and painting.

Niall Battson

Niall is a Senior Product Manager for eASIC, a semiconductor company in Silicon Valley. Before eASIC he acquired over 5 years of marketing and product management experience in the fortune 500 company Xilinx.

As well as being a Board of Director he is also the Director of Marketing for the Foundation for Freedom. Before joining, Niall gained significant non-profit experience with many non-profits including Habitat for Humanity, Grace Cathedral, Project Open Hand, SF Food Bank and Tsunami Volunteer in Thailand. He has a BSC (hons) degree in Electronic Engineering from University in East Anglia, UK and UC Davis, CA.

Abeer Choudhury

Abeer lives in San Francisco and works for a software company in the area. His inspiration to help support international schools that are in need stems from his grandfather who was a school teacher in a small village in Bengal in the 1930’s.

He is currently the US coordinator for our Bangladesh projects.

Shalin Sheth

Shalin is currently a MBA student at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.  Prior to Kellogg he worked as a computer engineer working for Tabula, a semiconductor start-up in Silicon Valley. Outside of work he enjoys hiking, biking, climbing, running, learning Japanese and traveling.

He works with a number of non-profit organizations including OneBrick, Habitat for Humanity, Grid Alternatives and Engineers Without Borders. His social interests are centered in education, housing and alternative energy.
