More than 15,000 companies, including almost 50% of the Fortune 500, offer varying levels of corporate matching for their employees’ philanthropic interests.
13% of companies match at 2 to 1, some will even triple or quadruple(!) your donation. Remember that some companies match gifts made by retirees and spouses too.
Louisiana State University received one check for over 1 million dollars from Exxon-Mobil and the American Cancer Society has been able to quadruple their matching gifts over the last three years.
